I retired at the end of the Spring 2022 semester. I am now emeritus faculty. I continue to work on problems in Numerical Linear Algebra and other math that interests me.
If you would like to meet with me email me a couple of times that would work for you.
My research interests are primarily in computation, particularly numerical linear algebra, computational nonlinear optics and nanophotonics. I have also been quite involved in study of pattern forming systems. Recently I have also worked in mathematics education.
