About Me
I am currently an "ABD" (all but dissertation) PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Arizona. I research numerical partial differential equations on metric graphs. This research combines many fields include numerical analysis, computational math, and network science. My work has several applications , most notably to to public health and optical science. I have co-authored eight papers, have one in progress, and am currently conducting research for one to two more papers.
I also have over a decade of tutoring and teaching experience at both the University of Arizona and The Ohio State University. I especially enjoy helping students improve their math confidence through active learning techniques.
Check out my recent spotlight in the UA Applied Math Newsletter.
