The Battle of Britain was a decisive battle between the British RAF and the German Luftwaffe. It proved that air superiority was a vital factor to win the war. The Battle of Britain ended in September 15 when the Luftwaffe failed in a second attack towards London. The Germans never attacked Britain for the rest of the war.
