Welcome to Print Journalism
Welcome back MAST scholars!! I am beyond excited to meet you! Whether you are new to MAST or a returning student, or whether we meet in-person or online, we are going to have fun while we learn and develop content for our MAST community.
In this class you are encouraged to express yourself through writing and various art forms to address issues and share stories that are important to you at MAST and in the surrounding community. Especially at this historic time, there are a variety of issues to be addressed and stories to be told. However, you will be challenged to research, find answers, and create solutions for the issues presented. You will be a part of team that develops content for the MAST newspaper, Purple Prints and manage the Participatory Budget Project. By the end of the course you will be a Change Agent at MAST and in your community! ❤

Our Classroom Tools (Remote & In-Person)
Zoom will be our virtual classroom for instruction, engagement, and of course fun.
