Sight word mastery is an essential part of learning how to read. These words typically do not follow the rules. Therefore, students need to learn them by sight or memorization. Most of them can not be sounded out. Please make flash cards for each sight word we cover and help your child study them each night in order to ensure mastery and help your child become a reader!
