ABOUT ME

I began my career at MaST Community Charter School nine years ago. I worked as a Classroom Assistant in an inclusion classroom, dedicating most of my time to supporting the needs of the special education population and other diverse learners. This experience inspired me to further my education at Arcadia University, where I earned my Master of Special Education. 

Since joining MaST, I have worked with students in grades K–6. This year, I am excited to work with Middle School students, as these years are an important time in their academic, social, and emotional development. Students are becoming more independent, developing critical-thinking skills, and gaining confidence in their abilities. I look forward to creating engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, independence, and a love of learning while preparing students for success in high school and beyond.

I have had the opportunity to attend College Settlement Camp with 5th for many years, tutor students after school, work in our Aftercare program, and teach ESY each summer I’ve worked at MaST. Building trust with the students, forming these special relationships and bonds, and being a part of this transformative period in their lives is both a privilege and a joy. I enjoy the opportunity to help them navigate this transition, fostering both their academic growth and social development.
