Welcome to Chemistry!
This course is an exciting journey into the study of matter and energy, exploring everything from atomic structure to chemical reactions. Together, we’ll discover how substances interact, transform, and shape the world around us. Whether you’re curious about the periodic table, chemical bonding, or lab experiments, this class will build your understanding of the physical world through engaging lessons and hands-on activities. Let’s dive into the wonders of chemistry and develop a lifelong appreciation for science!
About Me...
I am an Arcadia University graduate with a BS in Chemistry and a Master’s in Education, and I have had the pleasure of teaching students in our Philadelphia community for 28 years. Prior to teaching, I worked as a lab chemist at Merck Pharmaceuticals for 4 years. Bringing real-world industry experience into the classroom allows me to connect theoretical science to practical, real-world applications, helping students see how the concepts we learn directly translate to future career success.
I am also the proud dad to four children—24-year-old twin girls and two sons who are 10 and 12 years old. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family.
