Massachusetts ME/CFS and FM Association Presents:

ADVANCES IN OUR UNDERSTANDING OF ME/CFS

AND THE EFFECTS OF LONG COVID

Featuring Leading Researchers Supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH)

This Event has ended. Please link to the event records below

It has been 4 years since the National Institutes of Health (NIH) investment made a strategic investment in the ME/CFS Collaborative Research Program and the ME/CFS Intramural Study.

What have we learned in this time?

Tune in to hear NIH-supported researchers present their findings, in lay language, to a diverse audience of individuals with ME/CFS, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, the media and, of course, Mass ME members!

Get Answers to the BIG Questions:

  • What are the principal goal(s) of the research program?

  • What do we know now that we didn’t know when we started?

  • In what ways are we closer to:

        • Understanding the underlying pathophysiology of ME/CFS?

        • Funding of clinical trials?

        • Identifying a biomarker?

  • What remains to be done?

Each of our distinguished speakers has received a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to advance our knowledge of ME/CFS.
