In first grade we have learned several Folk Dances. A Folk Dance has moves to the steady beat, you work/dance with a partner, and you follow the moves that the caller calls. 

Some moves we have learned are do-si-do, two-hand turn, circle right & left, right/left arm swing and sashay. 

Every Folk Dance has a Formation. A Formation is the way that you need to stand - we've learned Circle with Partners, Long-ways Set, and Scattered with Partners.
