Research Day 2020
Couldn't Join us Live? We recorded it just for you!
Our 2nd annual Research Day was Tuesday, April 21, 2020!
Because #PacersNeverStop, Marywood Faculty were able to offer the campus community virtual-ized version of last year's popular knowledge sharing event! Throughout the year both faculty and students a like conduct and perform research in basically every field imaginable! Research Day is a time we can come together to learn about each other's research and celebrate the findings. You can read more about this event in student Briana Ryan's The WoodWord Article. You can also see the full program for details regarding researchers and their topics here.
Give Us 3 minutes!
On Research Day, we challenge participants to share their passions in three minutes, or less! This year, in addition to sharing Research in 3 (Ri3), the Marywood Community is also invited to participate in an Expression in 3 (Ei3) series as well. The Expression in 3 provides an avenue to share how people are coping with the current situation --- painting, poetry, printmaking, or anything activity.
Apologies from ETS to #Ei3 presenter Kim Hagan whose presentation was not recorded.
Check out these recorded #Ri3 and #Ei3s below! If you have a question or a comment for any of the presenters below, Share them here! Answers to your questions will be posted here so be sure to check back!
Additionally, relevant resources discussed in the #Ri3 and #Ei3 sessions are below.
CSD/C & POW present Sexual Assault Awareness: Bystander Approach #Ei3
Nikki Moser presents Changing the Narrative #Ri3

Eun Sil Suh presents Video-based Reflective Practice in Music Therapy Supervision #Ri3
The following forums are an excellent opportunity for students to present their research in a scholarly setting. Awards will be presented for the most outstanding posters and presentations. We will be using a tool called Mural to share these poster submissions with you. Here is a brief overview of what Mural is to help you get started! More guidance on how to use Mural for research day will be present in Mural.
You are welcome to peruse the Research Forums at any time, asking questions and making comments. Researchers will be monitoring their work during their scheduled time to address questions and comments in real time.
