Mr. Warren

Engineering & Life Sciences

Matawan Regional High School

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Mr. Warren, and I'm excited to begin a year of learning and being your/ your child's teacher! For the 2024-2025 School Year, I will be teaching Lab Chemistry, Intro. to Engineering Design, Aerospace Engineering, Marine Science (S1) and Zoology (S2).

After earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Montclair State University, I continued my passion for teaching children and earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from Monmouth University. Aside from teaching, I have worked with children as a counselor and director of a local summer camp, as well as building and running my own learn-to-swim program!

I use an array of different teaching methods, such as PowerPoint slides, guided notes, and the use of various technology aids. Homework will be rarely given with the expectation that students review what we did in class that day and look ahead to what we are doing in the next class. Students are assessed in traditional tests and quizzes as well as various projects, presentations, and research papers.

Communication is key, and students will be well-informed of upcoming due dates and assignments. Students will receive a weekly outline of classes and a daily recap of everything we did after each meeting. Email (dwarren@marsd.org) is the best form of communication with me, so please feel free to reach out with any concerns!
