Dear Lloyd Road Parents/Guardians,
This February, our monthly classroom counseling lessons will focus on the character trait of trustworthiness.
Students will learn what it means to be trustworthy and why this quality is so important at school, at home, and with friends. We will explore the traits of a trustworthy person, such as telling the truth, keeping promises, and having the courage to do the right thing, even when it may be challenging. Students will also discuss how trust is earned over time by being honest, dependable, and loyal within our school community and beyond.
We encourage families to continue these conversations at home by talking with your child about what trust looks like in everyday situations.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to help our students grow socially and emotionally.
Warm regards,
The Lloyd Road School Counselors 😊
