"Fulfill your mission - step beyond where you are!"

As a way of building on our Marist Way theme for next year, "Doing the work of Mary," nurturing community, and promoting a culture of reading for pleasure at Marist, students will read at least one book of their choice and participate in a culminating activity when we return to school in August. Students will also submit a six-word reflection in order to demonstrate their understanding of the text and as a way of sharing their selection(s) with the many other diverse voices and interests of the Marist Community.

Directions:

1. Commit to Read at least one book that you haven't already read, that is on or above your reading level, and is appropriate for you. You can read independently or with a group, club, or with your family.

2. Submit your six-word reflection by the first day of school.

3. Be prepared for a culminating activity in August.
