Book of the Day: Captain Cat by: Syd Hoff
In person students will visit the library to get a bag of books surprise.
Stop Drop and Read for 20 minutes will be held at 2:30
Virtual students : SHOW UP LIVE TO ALL YOUR LIVE MEETINGS - Get entered in a chance to WIN a prize pack!
In Person students: Give your very best in class and get an entry in a chance to WIN a prize pack!
These Classrooms will watch a virtual Author visit at 1:00pm - Thomas, Dickerson, Raley, Clark, and Rakes.

Marion County Students can check out some of these author's books to read online through their library account.
Directions: Click this link to the Marion County Public Schools' Library page.
Next, click on your child's school. Click on the words- log in, at the top right hand side of the page.
Now your child will log in with their school email address and their password. Passwords are different for each school.
MCHS/MCKA/MCMS student password -- student Infinite Campus ID number
GES/WMES student password -- first initialf, school appreviation, last 4 digits of their student ID (example jdges2345)
CES/LES Password--teacher last name (all lower case)
Now you can search for the authors name and look for ebook/audio books. You should be able to view them right on your device.
