California Office of Emergency Services EPE (Essential Protective Equipment) Distribution: MCOE is working with the California Office of Emergency Services (OES) to coordinate the procurement and delivery of EPE for public, private, independent and parochial schools. Delivery for Private/Parochial/Independent has arrived and all schools should have been contacted by now to schedule pickup. We will be in communication with our schools on delivery when appropriate. Thank you to San Rafael City Schools for providing warehouse space to receive and support distribution of this EPE. Please email RapidResponse@marinschools.org with any questions you might have.
The Marin County Office of Education (MCOE) under the guidance of Public Health and in conjunction with industry experts, has developed systems and tools to assist in the procurement and use of Essential Protective Equipment (EPE) required in the school setting, for both classrooms and offices, in the age of COVID-19. It is our hope that other LEAs can use these systems and tools as a framework in their offices, schools, and student programs. We invite and encourage all LEAs, schools, and student programs to share best practices and lessons learned, so that we can update and revise these plans to most effectively support our school communities efforts to expand opportunities for site-based classroom instruction for students.
Here you will find information and "how to" steps on cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting in office and classroom settings utilizing proper EPE (Essential Protective Equipment), also known as PPE. Click here to view the video.
