Every year, as Thanksgiving Break approaches, so does one of MRHS's most anticipated events: Pep Rally! Pep Rally, which took place on Wednesday, November 27th, was a celebration of school pride, featuring a variety of entertaining performances and activities. The cheerleaders and dance team delivered some of the most spectacular performances, with their dynamic routines. Each grade level proudly donned their colors: freshmen in green, sophomores in red, juniors in yellow, and seniors in pink. Every year, each grade level selects a theme that pertains to their grade level color, and this year's ideas were extremely clever!
The freshmen’s theme was money, the sophomores were Queen of Hearts, the juniors were Minions, and the seniors were Aurora. Each grade level demonstrated their dedication to dressing up for their theme with their tutus, face paint, wigs, and many more accessories. Each grade level had its own section of the wall to decorate with their banner, and they did not disappoint; the gym was truly transformed into a field of colors.
Adding to the excitement, the alumnae returned to see the festivities, reconnecting with old friends and showing their everlasting tiger pride. At the end of Pep Rally, a winner was announced based on the grade levels points accumulated through the skit, turkey feathers, All Saints Day attendance, acts of kindness, etc, and that was the seniors! It is always exciting to see whose efforts and competitiveness paid off. No matter if you are a student, teacher, staff member, or alumna, Pep Rally allows us all to come together and embrace our tiger pride, creating memories that will last a lifetime!
