On Friday 2/8 the Students and Faculty were given a presentation on Safe2Say Something. Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” BEFORE it is too late. FUNDRAISING UPDATE- the following fundraisers are what will be credited to your child's fundraising account for this school year. Gertrude Hawk candy bars will run from Feb. 5th thru Feb. 26th. Capriotti's pizza order sheet will be sent home for orders from Feb. 11th thru Feb. 26th. With order pick up on Ash Wednesday March 6th. The final fundraiser will be Victoria's candy for Easter. This sale will run from March 18th thru April 1st with delivery on April 15.

These are the ONLY fundraisers that will be counted towards your fundraising goal for the 2018-2019 school year.

The National Honor Society is selling daffodils for the American Cancer from 2/11 to 2/22. Flowers will be delivered by March 21, 2019. contact any member or Mrs. Nietz at rnietz@mariancatholichs.org

SPORTS PHYSICALS - All athletes need a physical before any type of practice. The form can be found on the PIAA website www.PIAA.org and click on resources at the top of the page. Click on forms then click on PIAACIPPE form 1-9.

GOVERNMENT LUNCH APPLICATIONS for the free and reduced lunch were given to students the first day of school. These forms can be completed and return to the Main Office any time during the school year.

ASBESTOS COMPLIANCE - as part of the Federal Asbestos Compliance Act, Marian High School was inspected in the Spring of 2011. A management plan is on file in the Main Office which satisfies the requirements of the EPA Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act.
