Not only Garfield and Snoopy, all of us need sleep. When we are children we want to avoid the naps, as they feel like you're losing play time, but as we grow older, they become a necessity, and they might even be a concentration tool.
Have you heard of power napping or napuccinos? Strategies that put together two giants: coffee and napping to make you better able to power through. Even cars like Mercedes are including power napping modes so that people can improve on their use of the car, and it is said that it does have the potential to make you have a more productive day after it.
Catching a few Z's can be good for us. Do you practice the siesta or the power nap? What are your strategies to have a quick recovery to power through the day? Come and share them!

The main idea of a conversation lesson is to provide speaking opportunities so that you can feel more comfortable using the language. We'll be using breakout rooms so you can talk in small groups and we may create something together.
Feedback will be provided at the end of the class, but the lesson revolves around the interaction and the use of English as an opportunity to socialize in English.
I'm an English teacher based in Rio de Janeiro and I'm very passionate about education. I teach online or face-to-face lessons which are personalized for my students. My classes are custom-made having your needs and objectives in mind, using authentic materials specially curated for you.
I work with both adult and young learners, and I have a considerable experience with exam prep (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, FCE, PET, KET, BEC), English for Specific Purposes, English coaching for presentations, congresses and job interviews.
I wish to be a reference in services that involve the English language for those who want more than an idiom class. I want to provide consultancy in English language that encompasses every need you may have in the idiom, such as private classes, exam preparation, translations, proofreading, coaching for presentations, meetings, trainings and much more.
With adult learners I have worked with people who have a feeling of having a trauma in learning the language and I design the lessons with your lifestyle, career and future plans in mind, following a plan in accordance with the CEFR so as to better enable you to reach your goals in the English language. I also plan the week of study according to the student's availability.
With young learners I enjoy using projects, maker culture elements and social and emotional learning principles to better cater for their needs.
