A Cautionary Tale:
After learning about Science Fiction and the ways in which authors communicate a theme, 7th grade students were given the opportunity to create their own Science Fiction stories. Students were asked to focus their stories on a real world issue that they care about and creatively used research they completed on that issue to enhance their stories.
