Mission Trip 2026: Building Hope, Sharing Jesus
Every year, Maplewood Academy takes a bold step beyond the classroom and into the mission field. Our Mission Trip during Spring Break 2026 is more than a journey—it’s a calling.
This year, our students, staff, and volunteers will travel to Puerto Rico to serve a community in deep need. We will go with willing hands, open hearts, and a desire to make Jesus known through acts of compassion.
From repairing camp buildings and houses to running Vacation Bible School programs and leading in evangelistic meetings, our students will be immersed in a life-changing experience of service. We are not just painting walls or fixing them—we are building futures, restoring dignity, and planting seeds of faith. Each moment we spend in this mission field is a moment spent living out the love of Jesus.
These trips shape lives—not only the lives of those we serve, but the lives of our students who come back transformed. They return with a deeper understanding of compassion, community, and the power of the Gospel in action. Students learn that ministry isn’t just a sermon—it’s serving meals, sharing a prayer, giving up comfort, and listening with love.
But we cannot do this alone.
Your prayers, encouragement, and generous support are essential to making this mission possible. The costs of transportation (land and air), building supplies, educational materials, and ministry resources add up quickly. Yet, every dollar you give helps fix buildings, put a Bible in a child’s hand, provide meals for a village, or equip a young person to share Christ.

MWA Mission to Paraguay 2025
We are delighted to share that our mission trip to Paraguay, which took place from March 6 to 17, 2025, was a resounding success. Our team had the privilege of serving at the Paraguay Adventist Academy in Distrito Yguazú, Departamento Alto Paraná, where they engaged in public evangelism outreach, as well as a number of campus upkeep projects that helped beautify the campus.
This experience not only allowed our students to contribute to the physical improvement of the academy but also to forge meaningful connections with fellow Adventist youth in South America. The trip was truly transformative, broadening their perspectives, deepening their faith, and inspiring a lifelong commitment to service.
We are deeply grateful for the support we received from our community. Many of you sacrificed so that our students could participate in this life-changing experience. Your generosity and trust in our mission have made a lasting impact on the lives of our students and the community we served. We extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you who contributed, whether through financial support, prayers, or encouragement. Your contributions have been a blessing to us, and we are thankful for your partnership in shaping the future leaders of our church and community.
