As Early Childhood Educators we know that children learn best by playing. That is why our program follows a play-based learning model. By using this model, our students are allowed to make choice in their environment. They use their imagination to construct meaning with materials and engage with materials that are interesting to them!Our classrooms are intentionally set up for each child's success. We embrace inclusion of every child and scaffold our learning to meet and challenge each student where they are. Students will work each day to grow socially, emotionally and academically. Our school uses the Conscious Discipline framework to create classroom norms and behavioral guidance. We believe that relationships come first and are the most important part of learning. We welcome mistakes and use them as opportunities for learning new skills. Students learn strategies to overcome stress and center themselves in their Executive Brain State.
