I went to White Pine Village with my friends. My favorite building was the General Store. The General Store has a lot of food, clothing, tea cups, and a cool bicycle. I loved the fancy hats that were there. There was a purple one and a black one and a blue one. They also had apples and peaches and plums. The shop had plates, soap, and garlic. I have a second favorite in the Village. It is the Trapper’s Cabin. It had a lot of fur in the walls. It had a fox on the wall, a deer, and a bear. It also had an old style oven and it was powered by wood and coal. After we went to our favorite buildings we went to get ice cream. I had a lot of fun at White Pine Village.

On October 7th fourth and fifth graders went to White Pine Village. The trip was an hour long away from the school building and we had a lot of fun. My favorite building was the court house. That was my favorite place because it had a cool upstairs with antiques and a cool balcony outside on the second floor. We explored other houses then went to get ice cream and the type of ice cream I had was chocalate ice cream in a cup and let me tell you it was good. We finished up our ice cream and headed to the gift shop. We got suckers and toys though we only could come in once. I got a cool ball that had rubber spikes on it and it was also a rainbow. The thing I loved about the ball was it was also bouncy and I still have a lot of fun with it. The people in my group were Hazel, Hazel's mom, Emille, and me Sophia. We got a lot of candy from the gift shop and then we had lunch. Then the whole class had to meet up at a stage. After we took pictures of the class we boarded up on the bus. Then left and that was the end of going to White Pine Village.

On October 7th we went to White Pine Village. My favorite building was the Doctor’s Office. It was very cool. We got to see old x-rays. In the x-rays was a toothbrush. Afterwards, we went to eat lunch. Then we went to the chapel and it was very fun. We were walking up by a hill and we had to roll down it. After that we got ice cream and I got strawberries. Then we went and got candy. I had so much fun!

On October 7th the fourth and fifth grades went to White Pine Village. We were separated into groups. Each group had a chaperone. It was a one hour bus ride to White Pine Village. White Pine Village is full of buildings that are very cool. All of the buildings were very old. My favorite building was the First Mason County Courthouse. The Courthouse was big and there was a courtroom and a prison attached to the side of the house. All the groups walked around the buildings. Then we all ate lunch at a picnic table. When we were done eating we got ice cream at one of the stores. We also went over to the gift shop and bought a lot of candy and there was a cool stone necklace that we got. When it got around one o'clock everyone went to a big stage and took pictures. Then everyone got onto the bus. It felt like a long time on the way back to school. Everyone had a good time at White Pine Village.

On October 7th fourth and fifth grades went to White Pine Village. Our host was Mrs. Bennett. My favorite building was the military museum. It was so cool to see all the guns and the gas masks. My mom chaperoned and my group and I had to fill out a piece of paper. There was this steam engine and we took photos. We also got to choose ice cream or popcorn. I chose popcorn. Then at the end we took a big group photo with all of the fifth in it. I had a blast! It was such a fun field trip.

On October 7th Mrs. Bennet took the fifth and fourth grades on a field trip to White Pine Village. My mom was a chaperone. My mom and I had a group. We walked around and we answered clues on a sheet that they gave us. My favorite building was the old timey doctors office. It was tiny and there were pictures of x-rays. One had a broken ankle and the other one was an x-ray of someone who swallowed a toothbrush. The doctor's office also had some of the old medicine in it inside old glass cabinets. The field trip was a blast and I was so happy that we got to go on the field trip!

On October 7th Mrs. Bennett and Mr. Bradford took the fourth and fifth graders on a field trip to White Pine Village. It was a really long drive there from Onekama. When we got there it looked so cool. I was so excited to go look at all the cool things and buildings. My favorite building was the Sugar House. My group and chaperone were really nice and I liked having them as my group partners. When I went to the sugar cane thing I got to try the honey. I didn't like it at all and it had a funny taste to it. I got a vanilla ice cream cone and it was the best ice cream I ever had. White Pine Village was one of the best field trips ever!

On October 7th the fifth and fourth graders went on a field trip to White Pine Village. When we got there we went to the school. The school was cool because there were old desks, old chairs, and it was old looking. Next we went to the barn. The barn was neat because there was a shop and a lot of hay. After that we went to the house. The house was amazing because it had old silverware, old rugs, old furniture, and old rooms. Then we went to this one place where there was a sewing machine where we could sew stuff we got to make cards. After that we went to a picnic table to eat lunch, my mom was chaperoning so we ate lunch with her. After lunch we went to a couple of more buildings. At the end we went to the gift shop where I got a train whistle, then we took a picture on the stage. I really enjoyed White Pine Village and I hope to go there again.

On October 7th the fourth and the fifth grades went on a field trip to White Pine Village. My class went on a field trip. The first building we went to was the military museum. The museum was cool. Then we went to Burns Farm House. The stairs were scary. They had dolls up there. Then we went to the barn that was a maze. There was a room that had wood carving stuff in it. That was my favorite. Then we went to the school house. I had a great time.

On October 7th our class went on a field trip to White Pine Village. It was really fun! My favorite building was the farmers barn. I like the barn because I like to see what the farming equipment looked like in the old days. We ate lunch and got our ice cream and then went to a steam engine that you could go inside of. After we were done walking around and looking at all of the exhibits we took a class picture on a big stage in the middle of the town. Then we went to the gift shop to look around. I had lots of fun at White Pine Village. I hope our class will be able to go on another field trip again this year.

On October 7th fourth and fifth grade students went on a field trip to White Pine Village. My best friends came with me. My favorite part of the building was the school in 1895 because it is so different from now. I got ice-cream and it was chocolate ice cream. It was good. There was this guy that did a corn stock and he made corn juice from the corn and we drank it. Then he had corn syrup and he put it on the corn stock, but I did not like it. The trane was cool so I got to go in the trane. The post office was fun and there was a note in one of the boxes. The doctor was very different from now. There were big shots and now there are tiny shots. It was so fun going to White Pine Village.

On October 7th we went to White Pine Village. My favorite place to go was the post office. We saw a note in the post office. The group had all my friends in it and Audrey's mom was our chaperone. So next we went to the train. The train was really cool. We got to go in it and we took pictures and then we moved to the next building. The building was a chapel. We saw the stained glass and all the designs on the glass. Then I saw the bible and we saw the chairs and we took more pictures. Then we went to the gift shop. It was really cool. I got a bouncy ball, slingshot, paddle board and a train whistle. White Pine Village was really cool and I loved it!

On October 7th we went on a field trip to White Pine Village. My favorite building was the post office building because it has a little note in one of the things that you open and because it had a paper that told you all about the post office building. My second favorite building was the Hamlin Cabin because it had all these cool wooden fake houses in it and they were tiny. The second reason is because it has this creepy doll in it and the doll had a white head. After we left we walked around a little and then we saw the lunches by the tree so we went over there and ate a little food. We got done eating, Then we went to have ice cream, I got vanilla ice cream. Then we left the shop and we walked around some more. After we walked around a little it was almost time to go, so we went to take a class picture and then we were leaving. We took a picture. Then we went to the shop where we bought things. I bought $9 worth of things. We left the White Pine Village and I said “Finally we went on a field trip!” It was a really good field trip.

On October 7th my fifth grade class and the fourth graders went to White Pine Village. The first thing my group did was we got ice cream and answered questions about it. My favorite building was the military museum because it had history about World War I and II, the atomic bomb called big boy, old weapons from the wars, and gas masks. Then myself and my group went to an old cabin that had an old rifle above the door and some old fashioned checkers. Next we went to the blacksmith building which had all of these cool carvings with lots of detail which was amazing. Next we went to the courthouse that had this cool old jail and these weird twisty stairs that were really steep. Then we ate our lunches then went to the gift shop and I got a slingshot and candy from the gift shop. Another thing we saw was the sawmill which was so cool. After we went to the church and saw a giant key and graves. Then we went to the log cabins and learned about lumber. Another thing we saw was the steam engine and it was so neat. We could go inside. It was an amazing trip. I hope we get to go on another trip soon.

On October 7th the fourth and fifth graders went on a field trip to White Pine Village. At White Pine Village my favorite building was the Mason County Courthouse. It was my favorite because it was really cool to see the old jail. In the courthouse there were two floors: an up stairs and a down stairs and the jail was in the basement. When I went up the stairs there were two bedrooms. One room looked like a kids bed room and in the other room looked like a mom and dad's room. In the mom and dad’s room there was a baby crib and in the crib there was a creepy doll. The doll mite have been there for a long time. I didn’t really see it clearly, but it looked like it was broken to me. It was kind of cool. I had a lot of fun. I really hope we can go on another field trip this year.

On October 7th my teachers Mrs. Bennett and Mr. Bradford took fifth and fourth grades to White Pine Village, it was an hour drive. My favorite building was the courthouse. The courthouse was the first courthouse in Mason County. The courthouse had 12 jury chairs for their jury members. The first jail cell was a pit in the ground and the prisoners slept on hay and had a pillow. The Native Americans who lived there were called Ottawas. Another favorite building of mine there was the church/chapel. There was a cemetery outside the chapel, it was not that scary. There was a question about when a girl named Martha died. She died the same year she was born. After all of the building's questions were answered we took pictures on a huge stage. I had a blast! I hope we go on more field trips again.

In October my class and I went on a field trip to White Pine Village. My favorite was the school house because I liked learning about it and it was built in 1895. My freinds and I counted the stars on the American flag and there weren't 50 stars on the flag. We got to write our names on the board and where we live. I wrote Bear Lake. I liked how all the grades were in the same class. The only thing I didn’t like was that if you were bad you would get hit with a stick. My second favorite was the Village Doctor Office because you get to see an x-ray of when someone swallowed a toothbrush but you could barely see it. I think it was hard to be a doctor. I’m happy we went to White Pine Village.

On October 7th fifth and fourth graders went on a field trip to White Pine Village. When we got there we all put our lunch at a tree. My group went to the military museum and that was my favorite. There were uniforms and things to help them fight. Then we went to a house and we saw how they lived then compared to how we live today. There was an upstairs where they had all their toys to play and they slept at. Next we all went to the barn that the people in the house owned. They had milking and a tractor. There was also wood carving. We saw there was ice cream so we would have got popcorn, but my group got ice cream. Next we saw the steam engine and the chaperone took a picture. Then we went to the school house. There was an American flag and it was just one room. Then at the end we saw the car museum. Also we saw all the houses and all the museums and then we went to the gift shop and got stuff. It was a blast. I hope we have more field trips.

On October 7, Mrs.Bennett let us go to White Pine Village with fourth graders. My favorite thing in White Pine Village was the Marchido school. It was fun to see what that School looked like in 1895. I really like how they did not have computers or technology. They didn't even have electricity. That was really cool.I loved how the school only had one class room .I loved how they only had chock bords and not competitors. It was cool that there were pianos in the classroom. I'm so happy we got to go on this field trip.

Mrs. Bennett and Mr. Bradford took us to White Pine Village on October 7th. My mom was our chaperone. One of my favorite buildings was the farmhouse. One thing I learned was when they had to use the bathroom if that was at night or whenever they had to walk outside to use the bathroom. Another building that we went to that I enjoyed was Mason County Courthouse. Another thing I learned was the prisoners had to sleep on hay in the basement. My third favorite building was the doctor's office. If they got hurt they had to lay on these hard beds. I also learned that if they couldn't pay with money they would pay with vegetables, eggs or even milk! I had so much fun on this field trip. I hope sometime I can go do this again.
