Breath Hold Dive Log contains all the fields that you might need to make logging your dives quick and easy.
Record details such as:
This is the application base page from which all pages are navigated to via three buttons.
'Dive Log' button navigates to the area where you can create, edit and delete your dives.
'Extra Features' button navigates to app features not directly related to recording dive trips.
'About' button details information directly concerning the app.
All recorded dives are summarised within a scrollable list containing the log record name, the location and trip date.
The list is in descending trip date order by default. Flicking the list downwards whilst at the first item will re-order the records into ascending order. Repeating this action will order the list again.
The number of records stored is shown at the top of the list.
Tapping on a list item will navigate to the existing dive details of the record.
The button 'Dives Map' navigates to a map of all recorded dive locations.
The button 'New Dive' will navigate to a new dive details record."
Use the navigation bar to return to the 'Home' page."
Using one or more marker pins the map will display all dive locations where they have been provided.
Tapping the marker pin will display a label containing the log name, the trip date and the location name.
Tapping the label will navigate to a read only version of the 'Dive Details (read only)' page. No changes to the record can be made here.
Use the navigation bar to return to the 'Dives Map' page.
The map can be zoomed and panned in the usual manner.
Use the navigation bar to return to the 'Home' page.
When navigating from the 'Dives List' page the full details of either a new or an existing record is displayed.
The scrollable screen is split into sections that can be collapsed or expanded.
For a new record the 'Log Details' and 'Location' sections are expanded by default.
A section's expandable state is saved with the record details.
Each section has an information button that gives a brief explanation of the fields in that area.
In order for a record to be saved the three mandatory fields, 'Log Name', 'Trip Date' and 'Location Name' must be complete.
The dive location for the record is shown as a marker pin on the map. It is only possible to zoom, not pan.
It is only possible to edit the dive location coordinates using the 'Edit Map' button.
The 'Reset' button is only available for new and unsaved details and enabled once the mandatory fields are complete. It will reset all fields to their default values.
The 'Delete' button is only available for existing saved details and will delete the displayed dive record returning to the 'Dives List' page.
It is only possible to return to the 'Dives List' page by using the 'Cancel' or 'Save' buttons. There is no back navigation.
On return to the 'Dives List' page any changes to the log record name, location or trip date will be reflected.
It is only possible to navigate to this page using the 'Edit Map' button when editing the dive details.
To manually place a marker pin on the map for the dive location pan and zoom as necessary. Tapping the map will place the marker pin accordingly.
If the GPS on your device is enabled the 'Use Current Location' button will place a marker pin accordinly.
To remove a marker pin either use the 'Clear' button or tap the map again to relocate the marker pin.
Using the 'Confirm' button will ensure that the location is used in the dive record returning you to the editable dive details.
It is possible to use an empty location by clearing the map and confirming your choice.
It is only possible to return to the editable dive details by using the 'Cancel' or 'Confirm' buttons. There is no back navigation.
On returning to the editable dive details, any changes to the dive location will be reflected in the map and latitude/longitude fields.
It is only possible to navigate to this page by tapping on a marker pin label.
As the page title suggests this is a read only version of the dive record.
Use the navigation bar to return to the 'Dives Map' page.
