Manhattan District 114 is committed to providing an exceptional educational experience through curriculum that is engaging, challenging, and aligned to state learning standards. Teacher teams design learning activities that support mastery of specific learning objectives, promote critical and creative thinking, and encourage students to be active and inquisitive learners. 

Curriculum development and refinement is an ongoing process, which is undertaken by teams of teachers that share common grade levels and/or subject areas. Teachers reflect on student performance to guide future instruction and provide differentiated support as needed. The goal of instruction is a strong understanding of grade-level concepts for all students.
