This morning we are writing letters to thank the parents for their support during EOTC. Without them, our EOTC would have not been possible.
We will complete our writing in our books this week. When you have time, feel free to finish off your writing about whether bugs should be added to our school lunch menu.
Should Bugs be Added to our School Lunch Orders?
What to do:
Click on the buttons to your right to read/or listen to the passages. This will help you to form an opinion for your writing.
Take note of the key points that support your thinking while listening or reading the passages. You can use the planning doc to assist with this step.
Make a copy of each slide and add to your writing folders. Have a go at completing the tasks :)
What to do:
Choose one writing piece for each day. It could be an acrostic poem, or a free write using the picture provided for motivation.
If you'd like to, you can also continue writing your speech.
If you have time feel free to finish off with some word work. Remember to email me if you'd like to use StepsWeb and I'll give you your password.

Speech Writing
This week you will have the opportunity to continue with your speech writing.
When you have finished your draft, write your speech on a word doc. Remember to move to your writing folder.
Use the below template to transfer your speech on cue cards.

This week you will have time to choose, and begin researching and planning for your speech topic. Remember to choose a topic that interests you, and that you know a lot about.

For the body of your speech, ensure you have elaborated, explained and provided examples for each main point.
