We are having our maths changeover with Room Three today.
Let's go and grow our maths brains.

We will all be practising our spelling words so that we are ready for tomorrow's test.
You can use the whiteboard/whiteboard pens, the magnetic letters, practise in your word work book etc.
Everyone will be having a check in test tomorrow.

This week our focus has been around;
Hook Ins/Opening lines
Sentence beginnings
Alliteration
Simile
Today you will need to collect your examples of these language features from your narrative and add them to your copy of this google slide. You can type them in, copy and paste or use Mote to record them.
We will then be sharing this slide to our blog.
Make a copy of this slide. Name it and move it to your WRITING folder.
For our writing we have been writing Narratives. We have been learning to add a great hook in or opening line to our writing and to start our sentences in different ways.
This week we also had to have a smile and alliteration in our writing. This slide shows my hook in, sentence beginnings, simile and alliteration.
We are using our Kaiwhakarite/Self Manager learning asset by reflecting on our learning.
Road Safety I-Movie Advertisements
This is our FINAL chance to finish our advertisements.
We will need to use our Kaiwhakarite learning asset, as by the time this session is over, we will need to have finished our filming AND our story boards so that our advertisements are ready for publishing.
