MORNING TEA
Quick Write
Today we will complete a Quick Write. You will start this with me and then continue it independently. You need to have this completed by the time you go to assembly today.
Instructions:
We will discuss the writing task and unpack a model text.
Next you will sketch what we can see outside our classroom window.
Then you will write a description of the scene outside our window using descriptive language, and language features such as; adjectives, verbs, simile.
If you choose to write on your device you will need to open a Google Doc. Please name it 'Window Quick Write' and move it to your writing folder. Or you can choose to write in your writing book.
You need to complete your planning in your book either way.
FOR THE REST OF THE DAY...
I am going to a course off site so Room 2 will be split amongst the other Year Six classes. Your learning for the rest of the day is on our Google Site (see below).
You need to take the following items with you; your school bag as our room will be locked for the rest of the day, your device, your word work book, pencil, ruler, silent reading book.
