Room 2 Lockdown Bingo!

To help us to find out a little more about each other's Lockdown experience, we will have a game of Lockdown Bingo.

How it works;

You will each get a bingo board

You will need to ask the Room 2 MKids if they completed the different activities during lockdown. If so, add their name to your board.

You can only have each Room 2 MKid's name in one box.

You can add your own name to only one box.

Tongan Language Week

Let's learn to say the days of the week...

Think about what you can do to recognise Conservation Week.

What's your word?

Think about being back at school. How does that make you feel?

What would your one word be to describe how you are feeling about being back at school after this year's lockdown.

On a whiteboard, record your one word. Then I will take a photo of you and your one word on the whiteboard.

Lockdown Word Clouds...

What to do:

  1. Think about your lockdown experience and all the activities that you have completed (learning and home based).

  2. Click on the button to go to ABC Word Cloud Website.

  3. Add words to show the different activities that you have completed. (Remember if you have done it more than once, then write it more than once, as this will make your text larger).

FAST FINISHERS - Share your word cloud on your blog.

Before you eat your morning tea kai, please wash your hands.

Morning tea

As you come back in from morning tea, please wash your hands or sanitise.

WRITING - Hello...Goodbye...

Today's writing will be a reflection around lockdown and returning to school.

We will start with some planning and by exploring some model texts and then we will create our own text.

Then we will publish our poems using Google Slides and share these to our blogs.

Hello, Goodbye! Writing - Room 2, 2021

Word Work - Steps Web

Our Word Work session today will be a StepsWeb session.

So please sign into your account and continue with your programme.

Lunchtime

Before you eat your lunch, please wash your hands.

A window into your 2021 Lockdown

You will each be given a window template.

Inside your window you need to draw logos, images, or write key words to reflect your lockdown experiences.

You need to think about how you will bring KAIRANGI to this activity. Making it eye catching is important so consider colour, layout, presentation.

Patrols pack up and Pick up Zone Preparation

We need to get packed up and ready to head over to the Big Side and our end of day pick up zones. This is something we will do every day. Your parents have all let me know your after school plans.

  • Zone 4 - walking, scootering, biking home

  • Zone 1 - School side Rua Street drop off/pick up zone

  • Zone 3 - Big side Car ark pick up zone

  • Zone 2 - Court side Rua Street pick up zone
