What to do...
Make a copy of the slide deck.
Name it and move it to your Homework folder.
Read the colour of each word (not the word - just the colour.
When you are ready, start the timer and see how fast you can read all the colours.
Get someone else in your house to have a go and record their time too.

TALK: What are the steps Raku takes to create his sculptures? Do you think they look realistic? Are they easy to make? How do you think he chooses which animals to make? What do you have in your backyard? What could you use to make a sculpture? What insect would you choose?
DO: Create an insect out of stuff in your backyard.
Go into your backyard/garden or anywhere you can access outside (with your parents). Collect a range of natural items like leaves, twigs, flowers etc. Bring them back home and lay them out. Think of an insect you would like to try to create and use your items to rearrange into the shape of it. What can you create?

Make a Lava Lamp
