There are a number of Room 2 MKids visiting Gis Int this morning. They should be back at approximately 10.30am.
Let's start our day with our MK Karakia and Pepeha
Through this we are meeting our te reo schoolwide progressions as we are able to;
Say and know the actions to the school blessing and/or karakia - He Honore
Say and know the actions to the school pepeha -Mangapapa Pepeha
We will work in groups to use this image to explore the following reading skills; Cause and Effect, Compare and Contrast, Inference and Point of View.

Riley, Masha and Maia - you have some assessments to complete as you were away last week.
Reading Skill Activities
You will be exploring Inference, Story elements and Cause and effect.
What to do:
Make a copy of the slide deck.
Name it and move it to your READING folder.
Complete each of the pages by typing in your thinking, or using the Mote tool to record your thinking.

Editing Activity
Read the text , Cupcakes.
With your red pen find 4 spelling mistakes, add 3 capital letters, add 1 comma and 1 full stop.
Glue this into your Word Work books when we are back in class.
