Setting the Purpose
A narrative is a story which creates a picture in the readers mind of the events / situations that characters are experiencing. Narratives always have characters - good and bad, a setting -where the story takes place, a plot - a structure / story line as to what happens, a problem that the character experiences and a resolution-how the problem is resolved / sorted out.
