Writing
Task:To write a description about your favourite or special place.
Where is your favourite place?
Why is this your favourite place and what makes it special?
What do you do there and who do you go with?
How do you feel when you are there?
Maybe write about the Sky Tower if you have been there - like Matiu and Pānia in the story. But there are plenty of amazing places around our region. My favourite places are my Marae in Nuhaka, the walkway along the beach, Kaiti Hill and the Botanical Gardens.
When writing your description make sure you include a title, introduction, characteristic s and evaluation (conclusion). Use proper nouns, adjectives (to describe), verbs and adverbs.
