Who are these courses for?
Adults who would like to start using computers and other devices.
Adults who would like to improve their digital skills for life and/or work.
What will I learn on these courses?
How to use digital devices and applications to:
communicate and share with others
manage your online activities
use online services and buy things securely online
create and edit documents and digital media
find, manage and store information
protect your privacy and data
work in an efficient and effective manner
manage data effectively (spreadsheets and databases)
What qualifications will I gain?
Many of our digital skills courses do not include a qualification. This allows you to focus on the skills, devices and applications which are most relevant to you.
Digital Essentials – complete one of these qualifications and you will be able to evidence that you have a good grasp of the digital skills that are needed by most employers.
How will I learn?
Courses are delivered from Manchester Adult Education Services adult learning centres.
When will these courses take place?
We have options on different days across the city.
