What is ISTE?

ISTE, the International Society for Technology in Education, has been around for 40 years. While certainly not the only organization focused on the topic, it is perhaps the largest, and draws members from around the globe. In addition to providing access to professional communities whose purpose to share resources, strategies, and stories, ISTE has come to prominence for the sets of standards they have put out (and revised) over the years to guide technology use and integration. Those standards have been adopted, to one degree or another, by schools and districts around the world.

Student Standards

The revised set of student standards were released in 2016.
