Message from our Headteacher - Mrs Thorn
Our children, staff and governors warmly welcome everyone to Maldon Primary School - a school where we pride ourselves on our inclusive and supportive ethos. Our core values are based on ‘The Maldon 5’:
At Maldon Primary School:
We are honest and respectful.
We are positive about school.
We are inquisitive.
We are brave and ambitious.
We are all important.
Parents make an important contribution to children’s achievements at school, and we nurture the relationship between the school and parents for the benefit of the children in our care in order that they develop socially, emotionally as well as academically.
At Maldon Primary we encourage positive attitudes and resilience in learning and set high expectations. Staff support pupils in achieving their potential so that they can make the best possible progress and therefore are prepared for their secondary education. We know that the journey to learning is lifelong and we feel privileged and excited that Maldon Primary School is where this very important journey begins.
A Gift from Perrywood Garden Centre
A big thank you to Perrywood Garden Centre in Tiptree for their generous donation towards planting in the EYFS outdoor area. Miss Flint and Matisse Class can't wait to spend the voucher in spring on lots of lovely new plants for their garden!
Anti Bullying Week
This week it was national Anti Bullying Week. The theme this year was stand united against bullying. Here is a selection of work that has been produced by the children.
VE day Coin Presentation
On Tuesday 10th November, the Mayor of Maldon came in to present our head girls with the schools commemorative VE day coins. Each child will receive a coin on Friday to celebrate 75 years since declaring Victory in Europe during World War Two.
