Welcome to the Malden High School Library

Thought of the day: "What you do every day matters more than what you do once in a while." -- Gretchen Rubin

"Every child in America should have access to a well-stocked school library." -- Laura Bush

Malden High School Library's mission is to promote the love of reading for pleasure, to support the research process for teachers and students across the curriculum and stimulate the minds of our students.

The library is a place where the students feel at "home".

**New this year **

Freshman Library Orientation Escape Room Game

The freshman students learn about the different resources the library has to offer by participating in an escape room activity. Students had fun trying to locate clues to find the "missing journal" and collect their prize.

After school tutoring program - every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-4:30 pm in the library. Come to get some help or become a tutor and help a student. Open to all who want to work on homework, projects, study or to sit quietly and read.

Hannah Larabee, a contemporary poet, works with ELA teacher Ms. Clapp and her sophmore honor students in the library for the In-School Student Day of Poetry.

Come in and check out our new books!
