The coronavirus is not alone in its spread throughout the world as xenophobia — sinophobia to be specific — and anti-Asian racism follows in its wake. This is especially evident in western countries where crimes motivated by anti-Asian sentiment have seen a meteoric rise with anecdotes that range from microaggressions such as glaring to more direct actions such as verbal taunts and even violent physical attacks.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action role-playing game set in a fantasy world. It features a wide array of playable characters, an ­anime-inspired art-style, and an iconic soundtrack.

Vision

As young Christian journalists, we envision ourselves to be journalists who are able to leave a dent in the school community and the nation that will positively stimulate continuous development. It portrays journalism as a bridge to establish a society grounded on the principle of fairness and justice. Above all, it remains true to mirroring the voice of the Filipino people in the hopes to advocate a life that is prosperous and equitable.

Mission

The Candle Pen, as responsible citizens and members of the school community, exists to advocate for the Freedom of the Press as deemed vital in a democratic state. It seizes to be a distinguished student-led publication that mirrors youth voice and provide an avenue for empowerment. With these in mind, the publication wishes to produce outstanding campus journalists who strive for the glory of God.
