A short bio: My name is Mohammed Waleed Ashour, I'm an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Information Technology (FoIT), Majan University College (MUC), Sultanate of Oman. I am currently the chair of the research committee as well as the coordinator of the technology projects in the FoIT. I am a certified Advance HE Fellow (FHEA), UK. My professional and academic experience in the Gulf region extends over more than a decade. In 2012, I joined the the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology (FSKTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) as a doctoral candidate, where I obtained the PhD degree in Computer Science in September 2018.  Research has also occupied a large part of my academic career, I presented papers at international conferences and published research in various well-known journals on a variety of subjects within the fields of Applied Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning.
