SESSION:

Rematriation: A Call Into Community, Strengthening Black & Indigenous Solidarity

About this session

Session Host: Eastern Woodlands Rematriation Collective

Format: Lecture with Q + A

Speaker: Alivia Moore

Description: As Black and Indigenous communities are continuing the work of our ancestors, rematriation-- restoring Wabanaki matriarchies in Wabanakiyik (so-called Maine)-- can be a transformative framework that is supportive of collective liberation. This is a call to come into community, into deep relationship across and between our movements as we struggle to shape our shared future.
