Welcome to the Maine South History Fair!
The Chicago Metro History Fair asks you to complete a research project. You will report your research in the form of a museum exhibit, research paper, video documentary, web site, or live performance. The goal of any historical research is to provide an interpretation of change over time. After selecting a broad, general topic, it will be necessary for you to refine and focus on one very specific aspect of that topic. The research that you will complete involves a great deal of depth, interpretation, and analysis. You will be providing a broad context for a topic, explaining basic background about it, and providing detailed analysis of your specific area of interest. The supporting documents on this page will help you in every step of the process!
