William Burgess '98

William received his bachelor’s degree in anthropology and geography from the University of Southern Maine in 1998. Since 1998 he has been working for the Maine Historic Preservation Commission where he is the archaeology laboratory manager and field technician. His responsibilities include evaluating and making recommendations for potential project locations, conducting field excavations and public outreach. His duties as laboratory manager include supervision of laboratory staff, artifact processing and identification, iron conservation and collections manager.
