Cohort Compass Program

About the Cohort Compass Program

The Honors College is excited to introduce the Cohort Compass Program (CCP), a pilot project that we are launching to enhance student success and retention. The CCP provides a support system and resources for Honors students from within their home departments. where designated faculty members serve as "Cohort Compasses".

Compasses function as touchstones for students in their home departmentss, helping them navigate the the requirements of their majors and the Honors College. They are available to answer student questions, provide direction when a student hits an academic roadblock, and offer guidance on charting a course towards the Honors thesis.

We are thrilled to be piloting the CCP this year, in collaboration with the departments of Marine Science, Psychology, and the Maine Business School.
