On June 6, 2024. The Asset Management Office has managed a lease agreement for areas within Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, where Gogo Transtec Co., Ltd. has agreed to lease space for its office and electric bicycle service. The lease covers two areas: the Bangkok Technical Campus and the Bophit Phimuk Mahamek Campus, for a period of three years. The electric bicycle service will be available for faculty, staff, and students of the university.
GoGo has introduced its latest electric scooter-sharing system designed specifically for easy transportation around campus. These bright blue e-scooters are now available for students and faculty, offering a sustainable and efficient way to navigate large campuses.
With the new QR code integration, users can quickly unlock and start a scooter by simply scanning the code on the scooter’s handlebar using the GoGo mobile app. The process is fast and convenient, allowing riders to rent a scooter in seconds without the need for complicated steps.
Each scooter comes with a phone mount, making it easier for riders to use GPS for navigation while commuting between campus buildings.
The system also emphasizes safety, displaying key tips and instructions directly on the scooter to ensure a smooth riding experience.
GoGo's campus e-scooter initiative aligns with the growing trend of eco-friendly transportation solutions, helping to reduce the reliance on cars and minimizing traffic congestion. By offering an affordable and environmentally conscious option for short-distance travel, GoGo aims to make daily commutes easier and greener for the campus community.
The GoGo app is available for download on both Android and iOS platforms, allowing users to locate nearby scooters, check battery levels, and handle payments—all in one place.
