Hasson Heights Community

Hello, I am Matt Siembida, the principal of Hasson Heights Elementary. I am coming home to Oil City after spending the past 11 years in the Franklin Area School District, as both a teacher and administrator. I was a kindergarten and second grade teacher at Victory Elementary before become the assistant principal at Franklin High School for the 2013-2014 school year. I have spent the last three years as the principal at Central Elementary School in downtown Franklin.

I feel very fortunate to be back home and a part of the Hasson Heights community. I actually attended Hasson Heights from 1990 - 1995 and graduated from OCHS in 2001. Throughout my time short time back I have been very impressed with the teacher's passion for teaching and ability to get to know their students in a multitude of different levels. The students of this school thrive off of the energy that the staff exemplifies on a daily basis, this school truly stands up to Oil City Area School District's mission statement of "Every student...every day!"

Again I feel so very fortunate to be the principal at Hasson and look forward to many great years to come.
