This semester, we will focus on learning about a variety of disabilities. You will probably encounter many people with different types of disabilities in your life. Unfortunately, there are lots of people who do not know how to interact with disabled people which can lead to fear and avoidance. This week will highlight “etiquette,” or proper behavior, when interacting with people with disabilities. It is important to know how to interact respectfully with disabled people to promote an inclusive culture.
