Temple Grandin is a well-known person on the spectrum. She is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, a best-selling author, an activist for individuals with autism, and a consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior. She is also the subject of the movie Temple Grandin. Temple was listed in the “Time Magazine 100 List” as one of the one hundred most influential people in the world under the "Heroes" category! This week, enjoy a TED Talk video featuring Ms. Grandin herself as she explains why the world needs people with autism.
