Monday 9-8 - Meet in the PE room. Jiu-Jitsu Day 1. You also have a choice of yoga or cardio if you are not comfortable with Jiu-Jitsu. But once you pick what you will be doing, you will stick with it until the unit is over. Cardio will start with 3.5 miles a day and go up from there. By the end of the unit, you will need HR data for all 8 days.
Portfolio Check #1 is Due Sunday, September 7th, by 9 PM. Below is a list of what you need to submit to Google Classroom. If you don't turn it in by tonight, you will get 1/2 credit. If you turn it in more than a week late, you will not get credit.
You need 8 workouts from 8-13 - 9-7. That is a four-week period with two workouts a week.
You need your Sophomore Fitness Results worksheet filled out for the first semester and your goals filled out for the end of the year.
