About the Typeface
Slapstick is a display typeface designed by Katherine Vargas. The Stray Kids Rock Star album initially inspired Slapstick. The typeface then evolved into a thick, slanted typeface with a touch of shards to give it a slightly edgy look. It only uses geometric lines. This typeface came to be named Slapstick due to its carefree nature despite the shards.

About the Designer
Katherine Vargas is a student graphic designer at Fresno State. Getting her Associate's Degree in Studio Arts in 2022, she transferred to Fresno State. She is currently in the BFA program for graphic design and is set to graduate in 2025.
