Created to utlilze hand written type. Inspired by typefaces such as Bradley Hand Bold and Chalkboard SE
Chisel was created through a various process of hand written characters mixed with various curved pieces. The typeface is loosely based on the designer's personal handwriting mixed with a sort of dry erase marker element.Â

About the Designer
Juan Contreras, is an undergraduate student attending Fresno State apart of the BFA Program. Expected to graduate in 2024. Primarily excelling in logo and branding identity, as well as a knack for digital advertising. Juan was born and raised in Corcoran, California and has been attending Fresno State since 2021. Transferred from College of the Sequoias.
