About the Typeface
Hygge is a Danish-inspired display typeface that was originally intended to be used in only all caps. I began designing the typeface after seeing a need for a warm art deco style typeface that wasnt overly experimental. The typeface is named after the Danish word hygge which means the quality of coziness.

Lives in Fresno, CA. Ian Parreira began graphic design in 2019. Ian has experience working as a Graphic Design Intern for Jeffrey Scott Agency, a Direct Support Professional, as well as producing freelance work on the side.
